We all know batteries aren’t very good for the environment.  They often contain very toxic and harmful materials. Chinese designer Daizi Zheng was also aware,  and decided to design a mobile phone for Nokia with that in mind. The result is a very original phone that uses sugary drinks (like Coca Cola,…) as a means to get energy, just like humans and animals do. All you have to do is pour some Coke in the reservoir, and you have all the energy needed to fulfill all your phone-needs. It’s also much healthier to give your phone Coke than drinking it yourself. Win-win. The future of portable electronics? I seriously doubt it, but it sure is an original approach. Read the rest of this entry »
