A while ago, they announced the winners of the Cooper-Hewit National Design Awards of 2008. Each year, they honor outstanding peaces of design in the fields of Architecture, Communication Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Landscape Design and Product Design. We all see them in their music videos, showing off with their bling bling, their huge golden necklaces engraved with diamonds and other expensive rocks and metals.
Sadly, as I mentioned before, most of us just don’t have the money for those kind of luxuries. Damn you 50 Cent, P Diddy and Xzibit.

For the people who are interested, you can currently see their works at the Velvet da Vinci gallery in San Francisco (that is untill the 30th of June).
