Customizing products is nothing new. We all remember those Adidas shoes you could color yourself with special markers. mTable from the mShape project is the next step in product customization.

The principle behind the mTable is that you can design your own table with your cell phone.

You just install a little program on it, you let you inspiration flow free, you sent the result to the production site, and within a couple of weeks, they will send your personal table to your home.

I’m definitely looking forward to making my own personal electronics in a couple of years.
