B-membrane by Won-Seok Lee

Korean designer Won-Seok Lee has developed a new and exciting concept for a portable computer. He didn’t pick the typical notebook form factor for his B-membrane that everyone does. The result of this is a strange yet fascinating UFO like white design that , instead of using a LCD display, projects its images in the direction you want. The device also features a membrane keyboard that appears when needed and an integrated optical drive to play your favorite DVD’s,… When the B-membrane isn’t working, it switches to it’s ambient lighting mode. Definitely beats your screensaver don’t you think?
