A while ago, they announced the winners of the Cooper-Hewit National Design Awards of 2008. Each year, they honor outstanding peaces of design in the fields of Architecture, Communication Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Landscape Design and Product Design. This year, the winners were Tom Kundig, Scott Stowell, Ralph Rucci, Rockwell Group, Olin Partnership and Antenna Design. The last one especially took my attention with the Fujitsu Ultra-Mobile PC. It’s an ultra portable notebook pc that is made of three foldable leaves to create a much smaller area than the current notebooks. When it’s unfolded, you get a full sized keyboard. And off course, it also looks awesome.
