Apple MacBook Air
And here he is, the newest product of the Apple design team. He didn’t get as much attention as the iPhone, but he did actually come pretty close. There were rumors about a thinner Apple Macbook, and the rumors were correct.
Yesterday, Apple presented the Macbook Air: a Macbook with extraordinary spatial dimensions (as thick as your index finger).
Underneath its sleek exterior (notice the resemblance with the design of the new generation iPods), we find a laptop with some very acceptable specifications. An Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 80GB hard drive, with an option to a 64GB solid state hard drive, 2GB RAM memory, WLAN and more. And all this for about €1700. Remarkable is the absence of a DVD station. This was obviously done to save space, and you have to admit. Those round magnetic discs aren’t really from this day and age anymore.
My verdict? I like it.
