Apple iPod nano 3G, Apple iPod touch
Somewhat expected, the Apple iPod nano 3G rumors were spot on.
Yesterday, Apple’s Steve Jobs Keynote unveiled a series of interesting new products and changes.
The new iPod nano 3G (the Fat nano), which looks only slightly better than in the spy shots will be available in two versions (Silver 4GB, price: $149, Silver, Bleu, Green, Red, Black 8GB, price: $199). It has a anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel cover, video playback, 3 extra games and iPhones Cover Flow album view.
The second, and for me personally more interesting, announcement , was the unveiling of the Apple iPod Touch: basically a thinner iPhone, without the phone feature, and at a lower price (8GB price: $299; 16GB price: $399). It has Wi-Fi for Safari browser and the new iTunes Wi-Fi Music store, so you can buy song wherever you are. There’s also a pretty strange feature that cooperates with the Starbucks coffee company , to know what music is playing at their stores,…
Steve Jobs announcement also included the possibility to create new ringtones from songs you’ve purchased, and a drastic $200 iPhone price cut (8GB iPhone price drops from $599 to $399).
