Jacob Palmborg Credit card

Constantly, when The blub uses his credit card, He thinks about things and ways to improve it. Things like an integrated ID card or even mobile phones with a credit card build in. No wonder He hates paying cash.

The “credit card” by Jacob Palmborg is in my view a very good improvement.

Besides the fact that it’s obviously a credit card, you can check your current money situation, how much you pay for specific kinds of things (like food or electronic devices) with it, and it shows all this and more in a beautiful and intuitive interface.

On top of this, we’re certain that only the owner of the account can use the device (biometric security).

The only thing I don’t really like about it is that it works with wireless signals. There has to be a better way.

But all in all, a great product.

You say: “…and it shows all this and more in a beautiful and intuitive interface.”

Can you fill us up with more details about the interface? It looks cool and such, but I have no idea how it would browse between the different options?

Yeah, do they use multi-touch input? And how is this device powered? Solar energy? How about the communication with a mobile phone? Bluetooth? Wifi? Isn’t it vulnerable for hackers? Answers, please!

So many questions, so few answers, if only this was more than a concept design…

Interesting concept. I like the idea of an interactive credit card. I think the magnetic strip on plastic is so yesterday, and too easy to steal or hack. Of course, it’s more complex than a visualization of how this would work, but I can see some cool concepts here - like the balance of purchases in which category - I think that’s great. A fingerprint security system also makes sense.
